Am I Really not Flexible Enough?

"But I can’t get my back to the target; I’m just not flexible enough!”  Have you ever heard this on the driving range, or said it yourself?  It is a very common thought that is expressed by many golfers, especially those in their 40’s, 50’s and up.  The body just doesn’t feel limber enough to make a complete backswing, and getting your hips all the way around for a full follow through can seem impossible.  But is it really?

What would be the best exercises to do at home?

I have had a lot of people ask me what they should be doing at home for a fitness routine.  It’s a great question because if you’re like most people, getting to the gym 5 days a week is not an option.  As busy as most of us are, it would be nice to be able to save some time during the week by having a few things that can be done at home.

What are Blood Sugars and why should I care?

Are you like most people that are tired all the time, always hungry for that sweet snack, and unable to resist eating large portions or grazing the fridge throughout the day?  Chances are it’s not simply because you are working so hard that you run out of energy, or that you just don’t have the will power to fight off those food temptations, it actually might be that your body is chemically causing these issues due to the food choices that you have made previously.

5 things that I learned in Golf School that weren't about Golf

I'd like to share an experience that I had over the last couple of days.  I had the opportunity to spend 2 days with 2 incredible teachers in the golf world. One of them is a legend, and the other is his protege (who is beginning to make quite a name for himself). The legend, Jim Hardy, is a former PGA player, coach and friend to some of the best golfers that have ever played the game.  he is the founder of the Plane Truth Golf company which is one of the most elaborate golf instruction programs available.  The other, Chris O'Connell, is his business partner and hais been working with and learning from Jim since he was a young man (actually he still is a young man in his mid 30's).  Between the 2 of them they currently  coach  over 19 professional golfers.

But this article is not about golf. . .
